Customer centric ‘Tour de Shughalpur’ activation highlights opportunities
with mobile internet
Karachi: 29 August 2013 - Mobilink has launched a customer centric educational
campaign tilted ‘Tour de Shughalpur’’. This innovative and engaging
activation aims at creating awareness about the opportunities possible with
mobile internet usage in Pakistan.
The campaign is in
line with Mobilink’s vision to bring the latest technology and services to
customers utilizing its network across Pakistan. An innovative awareness
activity was organized at the Lahore Press Club as a means of engaging media
personnel to disseminate awareness amongst the masses. The activation included
a flight simulation for ‘passengers’ who could enjoy the world of mobile
internet during their ‘Tour de Shughalpur’.

The ‘Tour de
Shughalpur’
activation in strategic partnership with Huawei is spread over 45 days. The
activity will be conducted across thirteen (13) cities of Pakistan, visiting
150 schools, colleges and universities and numerous market places. The
activation will spread awareness about mobile internet usage through contests
using the Mobilink internet network to access Mobimusic, Facebook, Wikipedia
Zero, Twitter, etc.
