Japan Pavilion in Expo Pakistan





Karachi: 23th September, 2013 – Japan External Trade organization (JETRO) in collaboration with prominent companies representing Japanese products in various in various industrial and commercial sectors of Pakistan will set up JAPAN PAVILION in Hall no. 6 at the 8th Expo Pakistan going to be held from 26-29 September, 2013 at Expo Center Karachi.

Prominent sectors that have attracted Japanese investments and entrepreneurs include; Automobiles, Engineering, Consumer Items, etc. There will be number of participating companies representing  Japanese products this year including Toyota, Honda, Suzuki, Hino, SONY, DENYO, Ricoh, Brother, CASIO, Pulton, VENN, Unicima, Fujitsu, Wacom, CKD, Miyawaki, Ohkura and many others with their latest version of products under one roof. 

The Country Director of JETRO in Pakistan - Mr. Kaoru Shiraishi expressed his thoughts, “We are confident that Japan Pavilion at the 8th Expo Pakistan will not only showcase the Japanese products in the Pakistan Markets and to the customers here, but it will also reflect  the contributions over number of decades by Japanese enterprises in economic growth of Pakistan, creating employment, increasing GDP of the country, in addition to providing the latest technology transfer and moving towards sustainable development”. 

Setting up the Japan Pavilion at the 8th Expo Pakistan event will serve as a highly effective platform to showcase the innovations and developments achieved recently. There are approximately more than 68 Japanese / Japanese affiliated companies in the Pakistani Market, who are offering numerous global brands with outstanding performance traits.

JETRO looks forward to offer a warm welcome to thousands of visitors at its Japan Pavilion at the Expo Pakistan, and will strive to ensure successful and pleasant participation for all those who seek to establish or strengthen business affiliations or collaborations with Japan. Consultancy services on trade and industry will also be the part of the JETRO Booth
