Official Facebook App for Windows Phone 8 Gets Major Upgrade
facebook has released a revamped mobile app for Windows Phone OS -- mainly
therefore Nokia smartphone users.
Actually available as a limited release as a beta product for the past few
weeks, it has now been released to the wider public on the WP App Store, but
only for users of WP8 software.
In a statement, Microsoft said that the new update "brings a ton of new
features and improvements that many of you have been asking for, including a
complete overhaul of the user interface, improved navigation, support for high-res
pictures, post sharing, Facebook Timeline view, and more."
The company added that it is also working to bring these features to the Windows Phone 7 version of the app later in the summer.
